The film originally addressed the life of the Batman villain by treating him not as a common comic book character, but as a complex human being with mental issues.
Despite receiving good comments from the public and critics, many believe that a sequel is not necessary. However, Steve Mosko , CEO of Village Roadshow, a co-producer company of Joker , believes otherwise.
Mosko was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter and when he touched on the theme of the second part of the film he was optimistic about its realization: “We keep our fingers crossed for a great script to appear and let’s see Joker 2. “
Although Joaquin Phoenix and Todd Phillips have stated on several occasions that they are not interested in recording a second part of Joker , it is likely that Warner Bros can convince them by showing them a good story.
