Last night, Netflix announced the cancellation of Sabrina’s Dark World, taking many people by surprise and disappointing fans of the series that went viral around the world. But these fans didn’t sit back and accept this cancellation without doing something. A few minutes after the news was released in major media outlets, an online petition was created in an attempt to convince Netflix to save the series.
To date, the petition has reached it’s goal with over 23,600 signatures, and the numbers continue to rise by the minute. However, it is worth remembering that similar initiatives were made for Daredevil and other platform series, but it made little to no difference in Netflix’s decision to cancel its series.
