Zack Snyder showed the villain’s full appearance and Marvel fans believe he is a copy of Thanos.

After years of sharing information and part of the script of his version of the Justice League, Zack Snyder finally achieved his task of releasing the film with scenes that were not seen in the final cut of the movie.‌

The ‘Snyder Cut‘ will be released in 2021 on HBO Max and the director continues to release images to generate expectations among DC Comics fans.

Zack Snyder published through his Twitter account a new image of Darkseid, the long awaited who will be the antagonist of the new version of the Justice League.

In the description you can read: “He’s coming… to HBO Max.” The frame shows Darkseid standing, on what appears to be Apokolips, his home planet.

However, the design apparently angered Marvel fans, who believe the villain is similar to Thanos.

This is obviously due to his appearance and the weapon on his hands. Although only real comic fans know that the creation of Darkseid was before that of the Mad Titan.

The DC Comics villain was first introduced in “Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen # 134 ” in November 1970. Thanos first appeared in ” Iron Man # 55 ” in February 1973.

It’s clear that Darkseid’s design and motivations inspired the creation of the antagonist for Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
