Netflix announced new options with parental controls that will allow users to restrict the content that is available in children’s profiles.
Among these new options will be the option to remove movies and series completely from the service, which will surely give rise to some gimmicks worthy of discussion.
The features are already enabled on all accounts and can be found in the profiles and parental controls section of the settings.
This section will allow you to define what type of content a profile can see. This can range from “Everyone”, which includes virtually only content suitable for young children, to content suitable for those over 18 years of age.
If you create a profile on content suitable for ages 13+ only, there will be no way for them to access content for ages 16+.
This will allow the person who pays for the service to restrict what other accounts see. In addition to this feature, they will also have the option to restrict specific movies and series.
Netflix will now allow profiles to be blocked and require a four-number PIN to access.
In this way, not only will the main account, which is the one that can make all the changes, be protected, but also the secondary ones to prevent unwanted users from entering.
