In this period of confinement imposed to limit the risks of the spread of the coronavirus, some are adapting and improvising in order to continue to meet other people. New Yorker Jeremy Cohen went so far as to invite his neighbor out who was on the roof of the building opposite him by using a drone.

After seeing his neighbor dancing on the roof, Jeremy Cohen, used his ingenuity in order to communicate with her, when he could not meet her because of the confinement imposed in New York. This photographer therefore used his drone and transformed it into a carrier pigeon in order to send this young woman, named Tori Cignarella, his telephone number. Presumably won over, she replied by message an hour later, as you can see in Jeremy Cohen’s Instagram post below.

After that, Jeremy and Tori organized a face-to-face dinner through FaceTime. Both, therefore, ate on their roof while respecting the social distancing measures, as you can see in this second publication below.

After this dinner, Jeremy decided to organize a real meeting while continuing to respect the distance measure. So, he went out of his house then walked in the street while being inside a giant inflatable ball to meet Tori. He even brought her a bouquet of flowers and sanitizing gel as a gift. During his walk, Jeremy was even interrupted by the police who had recognized him after having learned about the situation through social media, and wanted to know if their meeting had gone well, which can be seen in the Instagram post below.

However, we do not know if Jeremy’s efforts ultimately paid off but at least we know they will always be remembered.
