The news about Tom Hanks testing positive for the Coronavirus makes us realize how vulnerable anyone can be and can easily get infected. We all wish him and his wife a speedy recovery, but there is someone else who has been incredibly concerned.
Wilson, Tom Hanks’s companion during one of his most difficult life crisis, has taken to social media in the hopes that his friend reads the strength and support that this unwavering ball sends his way.
“Tom! Tom! I hope you get well soon, no, you know what, I know you will get well soon. When you’re doubting, I want you to remember those adventurous, exciting and somewhat boring days we spent together on that island. You and I did so much, well mostly you, and I just sat there and watched you, even though with all of my heart I wanted to reach out and hold you,” the red painted volleyball said.
Tom Hanks wasn’t the only subject he brought up, there was a subtle mention about Jenny in his post:
Freaking @Jenny! It was probably you who gave him COVID-19. You with your running around all over the country, having relations with everyone and anyone. Were his chocolates not good enough for you? Once you found out he had a successful shrimping business, you immediately showed up with a kid, what a coincidence,” it expressed with concern.
We are sure that the focus message to take away from Wilson’s tweet is the positive sentiment. Tom Hanks has overcome many difficult scenarios and we are certain he will get through this one.
