Natalie Portman seems to be living a real life version of what could be defined as a mix between ‘You‘ and ‘John Wick.’ According to information from The Blastthe actress has asked for a restraining order against a stalker who has identified himself as John Wick, the fictional character played by Keanu Reeves.

Portman alerted authorities that a stranger was trying to enter her property and when officers arrived at the scene the man identified himself as John Wick. The actress requested an immediate restraining order and, while entering the aggressor’s information to sign Portman’s petition, the Los Angeles police discovered that the individual had been denied access to firearms two weeks prior to the incident.

Although members from the Los Angeles Police Department had access to his driver’s license, which confirmed that he was not the fictional character, the man, a native from Colorado, insisted that he was John Wick himself. The detainee, who only responded to the orders from the police if he was questioned as John Wick. At this point, the wannabe dog avenger insisted “that he had spoken to the reporting person several times, telepathically, and that he had traveled from Colorado to Los Angeles to meet the individual.”  Neither the police nor Portman were completely clear about who the heck or what “John Wick” was talking about. The man ended up being arrested and placed in the custody of a mental health center.

John Wick, the actual character played by Keanu Reeves, is already preparing his weapons for the third installment from the saga. In this new adventure, “Baba Yaga,” the nickname Wick is known for amongst the circle of murderers in the Russian mafia, will have to face all the assassins that exist in the world.

The film’s title refers to the Roman aphorism “si vis pacem, para bellum”: “if you want peace, prepare for war,” a phrase that sums up perfectly the third part of what is postulated to be one of the best action packed trilogies in recent years. John Wick 3: Parabellum‘ will hit theaters on May 17.
