A teenager in Utah can face criminal charges for driving recklessly doing the “Bird Box” challenge on the highway. The concept of driving blind surpasses any normal reasoning. Although they do drive with the windows completely covered up, in the movie starring Sandra Bullock there exists no scene where anyone drives with a blindfold on. So this incredibly insane idea popped into a 17-year-old teenager who was driving on Layton Parkway near I-15.
As expected, the girl crashed. “It did not take him long to lose control,” said Lt. Travis Lyman of the Layton Police Department.
She was driving a pickup truck at 35 miles per hour and during that instant she started to detour from one side the road to the other. Arriving at an area where there was more traffic, she hit a white Honda model SUV and then hit a concrete barrier.
The girl lowered the blindfold she was foolishly wearing, which need I remind you was covering her eyes, and continued her journey; attempted to do everyday common things without looking, just like it happens in the movie.
The authorities only thought that the girl had been distracted, but the driver of the other vehicle was not satisfied with that theory and insisted that they investigate.

“He just could not understand why the vehicle was doing what it was doing,” they said.
At his insistence, the detectives returned to interview the girl and she admitted that she was doing the challenge. We’re just glad no one was hurt.
