Ten years have passed since the first part of Zombieland premiered in theaters and captivated audiences with the fun and interesting story it told, where the living dead were surviving amongst us by eating humans.
After seeing that many people liked what they saw, Sony Pictures decided that it was a good idea to gamble once again on this plot and give them a sequel with the same original actors who were in the first part.
It is in this way that Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin will be back in the new film, accompanied by the original director Ruben Fleischer.

Also, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese will return as the story writers, who previously worked on Deadpool films, and Gavin Polone as producer.
While it was somewhat difficult to schedule Zombieland 2, for the various projects in which the four original actors were in, the company said that sequel is a go. The first part was a movie which helped these actors by catapulting their careers and aided them in becoming the popular actors they are today.

Although many details about the story have not been revealed, it is known that it will have more and improved zombies that will challenge the strong and comical quartet, which will continue to try and survive in that apocalyptic world.
Similarly, it is said that you will possibly see them meet other survivors who are struggling with their own zombies in different places, not so far from them.
Although Fleischer is currently in the production of the Venom film, he made time to contact the actors and tell them that the Zombieland 2 filming will begin in January of the following year, so that the premiere of the movie in October of 2019 will coincide with the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the film.
