You need to chill, 2020. A very rare meteorological phenomenon hit the state of California, this Saturday afternoon, when a forest fire ended up causing the formation of a strange fiery tornado.

The Reno Weather System received unusual reports of a series of fiery tornadoes in Lassen County, California, approximately 25 miles northwest of Reno.

According to the radar, at least 5 rotating signatures were submitted, although it could not be confirmed if all were classified as tornadoes. As a safety measure, mandatory evacuations were ordered for several Northern California counties.

Forest fires in the area began on August 14 near Loyalton and as of Sunday had been contained by 5%, which was an exhausting predicament for firefighters, police, and forest authorities.

Several images and videos of the fiery vortex were shared on social networks and they have clearly frightened thousands of users who consider this type of phenomenon to be terrifying and even more so when seeing how devastating it could be.
