X-Men Origins: Wolverine is definitely one of the worst superhero films of all time. Released in 2009, the film managed to completely destroy Deadpool’s image. This lasted until 2016, when the character finally earned his solo film. But now, Funko has released the Mercenary collectible.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Fox X-Men franchise, Funko is launching several character collectibles from the saga. Funko fans will be excited to know that they just revealed two figures: one for the Nightcrawler from X-Men 2 and one for Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
These two editions are limited and would have been released at the 2020 San Diego Comic-Con. Since the face-to-face event has been canceled, they will be sold through the online edition of Comic-Con, which takes place later this month.
Now, the question remains: who will want to buy the Deadpool of X-Men Origins? Other than Ryan Reynolds of course.
