The universe of Batman within Warner and DC seems to be stretching wider every day. Ever since the production of Matt Reeves, which includes Robert Pattinson as the protagonist was announced to be intertwined with a series in the works by HBO Max, many questions have arisen. So far we know that it will be focused on the police force from Gotham, and takes place prior to the film. One of the questions is whether or not Robert Pattinson will show up in the series.

The film production ‘The Batman’ starring Robert Pattinson is still on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic and is expected to return to shooting next September, although not outdoors, but in closed sets where they will recreate much of Gotham. It is expected to be the first of three projects planned for the Dark Knight.

In addition to these films, a series will be made for HBO Max that will be directly connected to this new version of Batman and sources claiming to be close to the production are saying that Robert Pattinson will appear in the Gotham police series, at least as a cameo and with certain flashbacks. Bringing Bruce Wayne in will not be somewhat complicated since essentially, that’s the place responsible for handling his parent’s case.

So far it is not known what the storyline will be for this series or the official name, or if it has a certain resemblance to ‘Gotham‘ when portraying the origin of the villains. Hopefully, it will have several seasons, although we will have to wait until an official announcement is made by Warner as well as the HBO Max platform.
