Maybe there are no cars that fly, holograms of sharks, floating skateboards and shoes that adjust themselves. But we have something more: censorship! That’s right, Netflix has already censored a scene from Back to the Future, the film saga that characterized a generation.
The scene censored by Netflix is in the second installment of this adventure. Perhaps many will remember when Marty Mcfly travels to the past again to retrieve the sports almanac and thus prevent Biff from becoming a millionaire and causing a tremendous upheaval in 1985.
In the original scene Marty Mcfly finds the almanac in the school principal’s office. He opens it and realizes that Biff changed the cover of the magazine and what the director confiscated was not the almanac, but a sensual magazine called Oh La La.
The question is, why did Netflix censor the cover of the magazine? The scene does not make much sense now, because we don’t know why Marty Mcfly says “oh la la”, it appears as though he said it because he was thrilled to see the photos of the girls.
Surely, there must be more scenes censored not only in the saga of Back to the future, but in many movies and series that are already on that streaming platform. This even Doc himself would not have seen coming. You hurt me, 2020.
A twitter user shared the censored scene and the original. This way, all Back to the Future fans can ready themselves to scream an outraged proclamation into the wind due to this situation. Maybe very few would have noticed, but why are they doing this to us! You draw your conclusions and judge if the censored scene takes away from the film or if it is not so terrible.

Nothing beats owning the movies you love. Especially with some of the questionable editing being done to old faves, on these streaming services.

What I dont get it they keep the majority of the magazine in full view, only thing removed from this scene is the front page and him saying the name of it in disbelief… I can't fathom the idea of this edit in the first place…
