‘The Boys’ has become one of the most popular series on Amazon Prime, considering it revealed the other side of superheroes and showed that they are not always good. Now, a fan video has been released showing the build up of the epic confrontation between Superman vs Homelander.

As we know, the superheroes of ‘The Boys’ are a parody of the characters from DC and Marvel. Therefore, Homelander would be an unscrupulous version of Superman and has been since its debut. Many fans want to see a movie that headlines a fight between these two powerful beings and although it is almost impossible to see this happen in the cinema, a fan-made it possible.

Youtube user Adeel of Steel managed to mix in scenes from the Superman movies in the DCEU with sequences from ‘The Boys’ and as a result, created a trailer that provides a great built up to a great battle between Homelander and the last son of Krypton. Sadly, this is the closest we’ll ever get to seeing a showdown between these superheroes.

Certainly, this could be one of the biggest confrontations within the comics, since both characters have very similar powers, with the difference being that Homelander, apparently, has no weaknesses, except for his fragile social status. In a hand-to-hand combat, the leader of the Justice League has more experience battling powerful adversaries which would tip the balance in his favor.

A relevant factor in the battle would be the education they both received in their childhood, since Superman is guided by moral principles and his search for justice, while Homelander only seeks his own benefit and does not mind killing to achieve his goal. However, Zack Snyder’s version of Superman and the comics, have already shown that he is capable of taking the lives of his enemies, so the fight would be spectacular and only one might come out of it alive.

Thus, the fan trailer for Superman vs Homelander gives us an introductory approach to this battle. We can see the Last Son of Krypton entering the universe of ‘The Boys’ to face the leader of The Seven, and as expected, he would not stand idly by as humanity suffers at the hands of Homelander.
