Fans of popular franchises often create theories or have ideas that bring forth battles. Such is the case of a notion that arose a couple of years ago when the hardness of Captain America’s shield versus the power of Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber were questioned, to which Mark Hamill from the Star Wars franchise commented about on a Twitter post.

One of the most powerful weapons is the famous Captain America shield, made entirely of vibranium, an almost indestructible material, but which has been broken multiple times in the comics, and it was even seen in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ at the hands of Thanos’, while the famous lightsaber is one of the deadliest weapons in Star Wars and can destroy almost anything.

A discussion arose a couple of years ago, which weapon would be the winner in a battle, and to that, Mark Hamill himself assured that, without a doubt, his weapon would be the winner, A ruling to which Chris Evans disagreed with and eventually, Mark Hamill shut down the discussion and revealed that the lightsaber is superior to Captain America’s shield:

Apparently the actor is irrefutable convinced and assures that the weapon of a Jedi would be superior to the shield, which we have already seen broken on more than one occasion.
