Before deciding to release the ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’, Warner Bros’s original plan was to use the ‘Flash’ movie to change the continuity of the DCEU movies and delete what occurred in most of the Snyder movies, however, it seems that plans are rewriting themselves and we could soon have a new Batman movie with Ben Affleck as the protagonist.
Zack Snyder has unleashed a real revolution in the DCEU, so long as his version of ‘Justice League’ succeeds on HBO Max, the studio will allow him to produce a sequel, which in turn might generate solo films of the members of this powerful team.
While Matt Reeves is currently working on a new movie of the Dark Knight, it will be fixed outside of the DCEU continuity, reportedly AT&T and Time Warner want Affleck to once again put on the Batman suit and resume work to revise his original script.
It is asserted that the enemy to beat in this new film is Deathstroke, Joe Manganiello would be the one to put on the villain suit, this confrontation has been highly anticipated by fans, and would guarantee the success of the feature film if it were to be made. Since ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ is expected to be one of the best superhero movies, Affleck’s movie is a possibility.
Although it would still be necessary to convince Affleck to return to his role, previously the actor stated that he would like to play a more mature version of Batman, and since he never closed the narrative arc of the character in the DCEU, this could be his chance to bring closure to the character, the right way.
For now the arrival of Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ is what motivates us and see if it is the great movie that we have been promised. If it has the expected results, we can then we will have high expectations for the new Batman movie with Ben Affleck.
