While Disney and Marvel Studios keep planing on bringing in the X-Men to the MCU under the strictest secrecy, fans on the Internet come up with a thousand theories of how they could be introduced, in addition to casting their own actors to portray the mutants. These lineups have reached some famous Hollywood names, who really liked the idea.

One of the fan favorites to take up the Wolverine mantel is Taron Egerton from Kingsman: Secret Service, who has occasionally commented on the subject. Even Keanu Reeves has shown interest in the role, which made the Internet go crazy. Now, another actor has joined the race.

In a new interview with Screen Rant, Luke Hemsworth who is part of the Westworld series, and also Thor’s brother, played by Chris Hemsworth, said he was quite willing to live the Canadian mutant on the screens. In the interview, he spoke about his opinion about starring in a comic adaptation:

“I would love to. I grew up with them. I learned to draw through comic books, copying comic books since I was about 10 years old. Spawn was a big one for; I really loved Todd McFarlane’s Spawn. And then Batman – I would have fought Rob Pattinson for those gauntlets. And Wolverine! I’m like, Come on, just pass them on, mate. Let’s give it to another Aussie. I’ll have to grow some chest hair, but I’m ready for Wolverine. ”
