The premiere of the Venom sequel is one of the most anticipated by Marvel fans. Following the success of the first film, director Andy Serkis plans to exceed all expectations with the participation of Carnage, played by Woody Harrelson.‌

The villain promises to lead the protagonist through extreme situations, due to his level of psychopathy and lethality already known to comic book readers. For that reason, fans can’t wait any longer to see the film.

Through his official Instagram account, the filmmaker shared a handmade illustration of the symbiote and pointed out to fans that we are all Venom.

In the same publication he also announced that tomorrow there will be a “carnage”. Given these words, fans of the character hope that the first official trailer for the film will finally be revealed.

However, the image above has been passed around on the internet inciting that director Andy Serkis posted it today. Nonetheless, upon checking his social accounts, this image is nowhere to be found. Did he delete it? Or did Sony retract their submission? Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

The film’s release date is scheduled for October 2, 2020. Meanwhile, fans can only calm their patience by reading their best stories: Maximum Carnage, Venom Vs. Carnage and Absolute Carnage.‌

Who’s Carnage?

Before Kletus Casady obtained the crimson symbiote, he was already a ruthless, bloodthirsty assassin. He acquired this psychopathy from childhood, as a result of the mistreatment he suffered from his grandmother.

Once in jail, he acquired Venom’s abilities while Eddie Brock was his cellmate, according to Marvel comics.
