One of the biggest phenomena in the world of fandoms was the Twilight Saga, which gained a true legion of fans through its books and its cinematic franchise. In recent months, interest in this universe has been revived with the release of Midnight Sun, the book that recounts the events of the saga from Edward Cullen’s point of view.
However, for writer Stephenie Meyer, the saga is still far from over. According to her, there are two more books she still intends to write in the universe of the franchise, but for now, she is focusing on creating new stories with new ideas. Still, she promises to proceed with the works, as she stated in an interview with Yahoo:
“There are two more books I think in the world that I want to write. I have got them outlined and a chapter written I think of the first one, so I know it’s there. I am not ready to do that right now, I want to do something brand new,” she explained. “For me, a lot of the joy of writing comes from creating and I really want to do a new world and new rules and new mythology. Mythology is kind of my thing.”
Meyer hasn’t revealed partially what we can expect from these two books, as usual, fans are already guessing the main storyline. Some imagine that it could be a tale focused on the future, with Bella and Edward already married for years, or even a new approach to the existing saga, except, from the point of view of Jacob Black.
