Frogfish or by the name most people know them, anglerfish are lie-in-wait predators. They biologically have an amazing tool called an Esca. The Esca is a specialized apendage which is used like a fishing real, if you will, that works fantastically in luring prey.  Fish often mistaken the Illium which is at the end of the Esca and looks like bait, for a delicious meal. When the pray gets close enough, boom! The Forgfish devours it.

Fogfish have other adaptations as well. But we’ll let Zefrank1 teach about them in the most hilarious fashion.
