It is not enough that the actor will star in ‘Uncharted’, now new reports indicate that he will make the jump onto another live-action classic video game, Zelda, being prepared by the streaming platform, Netflix.
In recent years, film and television adaptations about the gamer world have taken on more and more leverage, for example, ‘Sonic: The Hedgehog’ grossed 306 million dollars at the box office, becoming one of the highest grossing feature films of this type in the last few years.
That is why now the next project that would be carried out thanks to Netflix is ‘Legend of Zelda’, but it is unknown if it will be a series or a movie, although media reports point out that it could be both, if that were not enough, the company has set its sights on Holland for the role of Link.
It is unclear exactly what angle they will give this character for Holland to portray, since the hero of Hyrule is someone extremely quiet, in fact he has almost no dialogue, and there is still no information on the plot or what video game this adaptation will be based on.
It should be noted that, although Tom Holland would star in Netflix’s ‘Legend of Zelda’, he will not be the only Marvel Studios star targeted for the project, since it has also been mentioned that Brie Larson may play Princess Zelda.
The only drawback is Holland’s busy schedule, he has several commitments in the future such as the sequels to Spider-Man for the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), therefore, one of his jobs could be spliced with said live-action.
