After the first debut of Spider-Man, several fans of the hero began desired to see Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker again, in some production that addresses parallel realities. According to media reports, the actor may return to the role in an MCU film.
According to sources, Maguire would be open to playing Spider-Man again and is in talks to make an appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, whose premiere is scheduled for March 2022. The film will show Stephen Strange traveling in several alternative realities.
The actor’s last work in theaters was in 2017, as the narrator of The Boss Baby. His appearance in the continuation of Doctor Strange could mean Tobey Maguire’s return to the spotlight.
