The Mandalorian has shown many references to the animated series Star Wars Rebels, so creators have decided to include in the new chapters a great enemy of the Jedi Ahsoka, Grand Admiral Thrawn, a role that Robert Downey Jr. Is reportedly going to play. This character became part of the Rebels, but ended up joining the dark side of the force.
