An artist has decided to give Star Wars a twist and turned the protagonists from The Clone Wars into medieval heroes.
Star Wars is one of the biggest franchises in the entertainment world, and every great franchise has a huge fan base. Jake Bartok, is an Australian illustrator and comic artist who has reimagined the protagonists of The Clone Wars as medieval heroes.
Despite the fact that The Clone Wars, the Star Wars animated series that focuses on the Clone Wars that we didn’t get to see in the prequels, over time, managed to win the support and appreciation from the fans and has become a cult production. The series ended in 2014 but this same year a seventh season premiered on Disney+ to conclude certain plots in a better way.
The Clone Wars has been a huge success and has united fans from the series, so it’s no wonder there is always new fanart being released.
In these illustrations we can see Rex, Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan dressed in armor inspired by meidevil times. Bartok has made sure to consider some of the most recognizable details from each character and adapt them to a new environment, such as Anakin’s robotic hand and Ahsoka’s headdress.
Finally finishing off Medieval Fantasy inspired Captain Rex. He goes nicely with the other three I’ve already finished. I’ve got about 4-5 more Clone Wars characters left on my list. pic.twitter.com/oB7d7bNusa
