There is no doubt that we are in a Reeves-sergency. Keanu Reeves is hotter than ever and for good reason. The days of movie box office failures are long gone for him and it has recently been talked about that he will join the Marvel Universe, according to the president of Marvel studios, Kevin Feige.
Feige said, “we’ve talked to Reeves,” but he didn’t say what roles they have considered him for. And after the successes of the most recent “John Wick” and “Duke Caboom” in “Toy Story 4”, he is more successful than ever.
In essence, what would it be like to have Reeves play an antihero for once? With X-Men getting ready to enter the MCU, it would be a complete surprise to see him play the role of an antagonist and we all know that Mr. Sinister is a character who has plenty of depth.
Mr. Sinister has confronted the X-Men on several occasion, he is an intelligent and powerful force to be reckoned with. So Reeves would definitely have massive character qualities to execute.
