The NES has iconic games that will always be remembered by many ‘gamers’ who are now adults. One of the most popular installments, without a doubt, was ‘Duck Hunt‘, which could only be enjoyed if you had the classic Nintendo pistol.

The video game set up was quite simple, you just had to connect the Famicom Light Gun, also called NES Zapper, to the console and wait for the ducks to appear on the screen. Once you saw them, you just had to aim at them and pull the trigger.

If you hit the target, the ducks fell dead to the ground and a dog would pick up the duck and congratulated you; however, if you missed the shot the dog would make fun of you, tease you by laughing, hurting your innermost feelings. To pass the level with a perfect score you had to kill 10 ducks, if you did less than half a ‘ Game Over ‘ would appear on the screen.

The first levels are very simple, since the ducks fly relatively slowly, but that changes as you progress in the game. It is incredibly difficult to reach the end of ‘ Duck Hunt ‘ and those who could do it were shocked to see that it was impossible to pass the final level. Why were they like that?

Once you complete Level 99, the most complicated part of the game begins, you will immediately realize that it is impossible to hit one of the ducks. This is due to a ‘ bug ‘ that causes the so-called ‘ Kill Screen ‘, the player can only see the dog teasing since you cannot hit your target.

Once the 10 ducks on ‘Level 100’ or ‘Level 0’ have escaped or passed, the Game Over screen appears. Check out the video below to see the final level, and let us know on our social networks what you think.
