With the upcoming addition of Michael Keaton to DC movies, the possibility for the actor to star in a new movie about the night knight may now be available, but this time he will no longer be the protector of Gotham, instead, he will train someone else to take his place, as revealed by the new fan trailer for ‘Batman Beyond’.
Since the possible return of Keaton as the Dark Knight was announced in ‘The Flash’, fans have been looking forward to seeing him wearing the Batman costume again, in that sense, a fan decided to make a trailer and the result is incredible. The Trailer is so well made, that it fly as an official one.
One of the biggest questions is knowing who will play Terry McGinnis, the rebellious Batman apprentice. While we wait for Warner Bros to choose the actor who will uphold the role, the trailer shows that Dylan O’Brien would do a promising job playing the superhero.
To produce this trailer, user Billy Crammer took as reference several excerpts from other films, mainly from ‘American Assassin’, being that, in that film, Keaton and O’Brien had the opportunity to collaborate together, therefore the editor manages to get align the sequences so week, that it seems like we are watching the new ‘Batman Beyond’ trailer.
For now we will have to wait for the confirmation that Keaton will be in ‘The Flash’ movie. Warner Bros has big plans for the character, meanwhile we can enjoy this trailer and hope something similar comes to pass.
