The Warner Bros. released the first and flawless trailer for ‘ The Batman ‘ during the DCFanDome virtual event, and one of several sequences left Internet users quite surprised.
In addition to showing Robert Pattinson as the protagonist hero and Zoë Kravitz as the Catwoman, the video also revealed Colin Farrell’s look as the iconic villain Penguin, shockingly unrecognizable with makeup.
On social media, after many fans doubted it was Farrell, makeup artist Mike Marino confirmed that he really is the actor under prosthetics and makeup, and released new images.
Of course it didn’t take long for the audience to react with excitement after viewing the depiction of the character.
I had to search the eyes to confirm this is, in fact, my man Colin Farrell. #TheBatman #DCFanDome pic.twitter.com/VMwN70EoKJ
