Although we have been told many times that Mjölnir is a difficult weapon to lift and only the worthy can use, the comics have shown on more than one occasion that being worthy is easier than what we think because various characters have raised this hammer even characters from DC.

In some of the DC and Marvel crossovers, Superman and Wonder Woman were able to use Mjölnir for certain situations, but because they are from alternative comic, they were considered as ‘non-canonical’ events, within the Marvel storyline.

For this reason, many were surprised to read that in the first issue of Thor: The Worthy, Superman and Wonder Woman are mentioned as canonical according to Marvel.

Fans are still hopeful that one day we will see a movie crossover between Marvel and DC Comics. Perhaps we will soon witness another crossover between these companies, although it will probably take place in the comics fans will still be excited to read about epic moments like their ones in their predecessors.
