The return of the series The Mandalorian, whose second season is currently broadcasting on Disney +, is causing a lot of excitement in the Star Wars fandom. And its third episode only confirmed information that we had already learned several months ago: Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan in The Clone Wars series, is about to make her comeback. She will be played by actress Rosario Dawson.
Although her appearance in The Mandalorian will mark her first incarnation in a live-action production, Ahsoka Tano’s character is one of the most beloved in the Star Wars universe. Eager for some of their favorite characters to make an appearance in the Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni series, artists have imagined and posted on their social accounts versions of Ahsoka Tano, which can possibly give us an accurate visual of what she will look like in The Mandalorian.
Extremely gifted, artist Raf Grassetti also imagined an ultra-realistic version of Darth Maul, of whom was recently learned that George Lucas’ initial plans for the character were altered by Disney / Lucasfilm.
Whether or not the character Darth Maul will make an appearance in the Obi-Wan Kenobi-centric series is unknown at this time. However, we can only validate the choice of these artists to represent these two characters, whose duel was one of the highlights of the amazing animated series from Dave Filoni, Star Wars Rebels.
