Filming leads to paparazzi, paparazzi leads to the filming sets, filming sets lead to the dark leaks. Although Lucasfilm has done everything possible to protect Star Wars Episode IX, some photos from the film production were leaked .
The photos were published by The Sun and show Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) in a rural setting, as if they were on some kind of mission for the Resistance. Likewise, we can see how Finn and Poe unite with Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo, as successor to the legendary Peter Mayhew) and several other characters.

Unfortunately, or in a lucky way, these pictures do not tell us much about the plot, nor about the details of the mission Finn and Poe might have, which, for those of us who are old-fashioned and do not like spoilers, is a Yoda’s blessing.
This supposed photo of one of the locations of the film was also leaked, but it is less clear as to its content. Of course, some fans speculate that it could be the Endor forest… and that would mean the return of the Ewoks:

JJ Abrams returns to direct Star Wars: Episode IX, which will star Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and Carrie Fisher, with special performances from Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant.
The premiere of the final episode of the third Star Wars trilogy is scheduled for December 20, 2019 .
