Shao Kahn is the Emperor of Outworld and is known for his divine strength, callousness, extreme brutality, fitness appeal, muscular allure and fondness for personal executions, but he exceeds the level of a mere warlord for his intelligence and knowledge of black magic. Like his subordinate Shang Tsung, he has the power to consume other souls. His greatest strength is probably his perseverance to fight for his goals. His Tinder profile is one of the most swiped right accounts, and his Tic Tok might be the highest followed by professional dancers. So it is no surprise that his greatest weaknesses are his arrogance and enormous pride.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, he has been forced to cancel the Earth Realm Mortal Kombat tournament. In a statement released from his Myspace account, the Emporer stated: “I want my fighters to know how precious their souls… I’m mean their lives are to me. Their well being is my highest priority, right up there with my diet and work out plan.”
Other fighters, upon hearing the news, took to their social accounts and expressed their opinions about the decision.
Raiden, who observes the tournaments from the heights of the sky, and is the god of thunder, showed his gratitude and posted:
“Shao Kahn usually has terrible intentions but this time I believe he has made a sincere, honest and well thought out decision. Also I really enjoyed the shirtless work out routine he posted on his Instagram. I feel my pecs growing by doing just one of his recommended routines.”
Scorpion who was killed by Sub-Zero and was given the opportunity to return and avenge his death had this to say:
“I am thankful that Shao Khan came to his senses. I would hate for Covid-19 to GET OVER HERE and infect me. That would not be an honorable way to perish. P.S. I hope Sub-Zero gets it. LOL.”
Sub-Zero who is one of the greatest assasins to have entered the Mortal Kombat tournament said:
“Sup guys? Just here listening to my favorite song ‘Ice Ice Baby’ when I heard the news. You know, it doesn’t really matter, I’m still the Coolest fighter out there. Also, Scorpion is just a hater, GET OVER HERE and fight me bro!”
Triborg asked on his Twitter profile: “Is this because of a computer virus?”
Many other popular events were canceled in the same fashion and we are thankful that there is a considerate Emperor who focuses on the well being of the fighters. After all, how else would we have epic fatalities if these competitors are too sick to perform them?
