After a campaign running for two and a half years by fans to see the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the film will finally be released on the HBO Max platform. This new edition will last more than 4 hours and will undoubtedly bring many surprises. One of them could be in the form of a cameo by Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern.

It is speculated that 75% of what was shot by Zack Snyder was discarded by Joss Whedon, therefore, we will literally be watching a new movie. At the moment it is not known if they will gather the original cast to film for reshoots or if they will have to cope with what already exists. But the Green Lantern is expected to get much more screen time, and Ryan Reynolds seems to be thrilled with the idea of making a brief appearance.

This news sources are the same that anticipated the arrival of Zack Snyder’s version of the Justice League on HBO Max and that they were preparing a Green Lantern show. Ryan Reynolds has been reported to have said that he is more than happy to appear in a cameo for the film. Of course, that doesn’t mean it will happen given that the actor has a tight schedule, as well as whether or not there is a logical enough route to put him in the movie without making it feel forced. But he wants to give the DC Comics character another chance, as he did with Marvel’s Deadpool.

Not surprisingly, actor Ryan Reynolds himself has mocked his performance as Green Lantern, perhaps this will close old wounds and may finally make peace with the character.
