Warner Bros. has finally decided to finalize the intended adaptation based on Justice League Dark, the team of supernatural and paranormal heroes from the DC universe.
The initiative will be a series that will materialize for the new streaming platform HBO Max, based on the alliance that the studio made with the production company Bad Robot and JJ Abrams.
Rumors about this project were rekindled in January, precisely after the billionaire deal Abrams made with WarnerMedia conglomerate was announced. In addition, the initiative activated a brand that at one point had Guillermo del Toro developing a film version that never came to fruition.
For now there are no additional details, but the series will also feature the work of producer Katie McGrath, Abrams’ wife, and will likely include characters like Zatanna, Dead Man, Etrigan, Swamp Thing and John Constantine.
