Time has passed, the cast of “Harry Potter” has grown and now Rupert Grint will be daddy! The actor who brought Ron Weasley to life announced today that he is expecting his first child.
The child is the result of the relationship between the 31-year-old star and his girlfriend Georgia Groome, with whom he has had a relationship for some years

“Rupert Grint and Georgie Groome are excited to announce that they are expecting a baby and are asking for privacy right now,” the actor’s press office told E! News. The two were photographed together in the past week, and Georgia’s belly was already showing.
Grint thus becomes the first actor in the main “Harry Potter” trio to become a dad. He had already talked about the desire to have children in 2018, in an interview with the British newspaper “The Guardian”. “I would like to settle down and have children soon. If I had a child, would I call him ‘Ron’? It’s a good name, but probably not.”
