The third installment of Spider-Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently in the production phase. So far, little is known about the possible plot of this film despite a large amount of leaked information concerning the characters. Which makes it a bit difficult to guess what we’ll see on the screen, nonetheless, a recent report indicates who will be the true villain of ‘No Way Home’.
One of the first revelations of this production, was the official title, as it was confirmed to be ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which does not reveal much about the plot. In addition, there has been talk about the arrival of many villains, including Electro, Jamie Foxx and Doc Ock, Alfred Molina among many others. The biggest news was the participation of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning to the role of “Spider-Man”.
According to reports close to the production, the true villain of ‘No Way Home’ is none other than, Green Goblin, which will be played by Willem Dafoe, who will not be a part of this continuity, at least for now, since he will possibly be the one who opens up the multiverse, uniting the different versions of Spider-Man along with Tom Holland. However, this is as far as the leaked details go.
Currently, filming for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ continues, and although some behind-the-scenes photos have been revealed, none of the special performances have been seen, which are carefully being saved to surprise fans when it hits theaters on December 17, 2021. So long as there are no more delays from the Marvel Studios.
