Prince of Persia was once one of Ubisoft’s crown jewels, but it spent a lot of time in limbo. The last game in the main series, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, was released in 2010, without much success. But that is about to change.
This week, the Russian version of the developer’s digital game store, Uplay (via Eurogamer ), featured several screens of what would be a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Released in 2003, the title was the first in an adventure trilogy and was accountable for making the series popular again.
After the leak, Ubisoft officially revealed the game, with an incredible trailer:
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will be released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 21, 2021.
