If we talk about both series we can not avoid mentioning David Harbor, actor who will play Red Guardian in the MCU and will return as Jim Hopper in the new season of the Netflix series, but the connection between ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Black Widow’ goes beyond a character, we are talking about how the history of both franchises can be merged.

On the one hand, we have Red Guardian, a close friend of Natasha Romanoff, where together with Yelena Belova and Melina Vostokoff will have to face Taskmaster. A surprise twist might indicate that there is a spy among them.

Hopper was talked about for many months. When the third season ended it was thought that he had ceased to exist, but it turns out he’s alive and fighting to come back. A new breakthrough reveals that he is in Russia, working on what appears to be rails for a train to travel during a harsh winter.

While everyone was happy for the official return of the character, others decided to take it to the next level, some fans think that Hopper will not leave that place until he becomes the Red Guardian, because he’s a Russian hero. The idea is not as far-fetched as it may seem, just a little ingenuity is needed for the pieces to fit.

The ‘Black Widow’ movie will premiere phase 4 of the MCU, it takes place before ‘Avengers: Endgame’, somewhere in between ‘Civil War’ and ‘Infinity War’, so it will fill that time with new stories about what Natasha was doing. We might also get a possible Iron-Man cameo, which will surely be an excellent gift for fans.
