Many comic book superheroes will debut during the next phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), however, some could start as a real threat to other heroes, for example, it was revealed this week that Silver Surfer would be a villain in Marvel Studios.

This character, who first appeared in The Fantastic Four comics, could return to the big screen after been seen in the 2007 live-action film, ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,‘ where he was introduced as an envoy from Galactus to destroy planet earth, but later joins Reed Richards to defeat the entity.

Now, on his return to the cinematic world, Silver Surfer would be a villain in Marvel Studios, according to Mikey Sutton, an influencer who is close to these studios, this time he will not only be the right hand of the world-eater, but they will delve into his story.

The plan is to present the origin story of the silver character, to show how he had to sacrifice his freedom to save his planet from being eaten by Galactus and how he becomes less and less empathetic with other living beings, although there will come a point where he refuse to serve his master to save the entire galaxy.

The above will serve to gradually build the hero in the MCU and thus finally launch his solo film, however, there is nothing confirmed, since the fourth phase has not even begun due to the coronavirus pandemic. So we will have to wait to find out more about this project.
