In the face of the current pandemic state of COVID-19 in which the world finds itself – some organizations and media companies have tried to spread the use of masks in public, which is a recommendation widely advocated by health professionals.
The CW joined the cause by releasing new posters of the main super hero characters of its TV series wearing masks.
The series of posters feature The Flash (Grant Gustin), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) wearing what looks like disposable masks. Even Beebo, the blue mascot of ‘Legends of Tomorrow,” was not left out.
All posters bear the catchphrase “Real heroes wear masks” and warn that the Arrowverse series will return in 2021.
