Gotham.- It seems that all the Joker needed from Jared Leto was less David Ayer (Suicide Squad) and more Zack Snyder with his dark-suffering vibe. Vanity Fair exclusively published two photos of the clown prince of crime in the Justice League: Snyder Cut that will make you say, “now that’s a scary looking Joker” and wrap yourself in your sheet, compared to the weak tattooed laughing stock we saw in 2016.

DC Comics fanboys were super offended by the version of the Joker, a gangster style villain, with pure bling bling, who surely listens to Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, very alien to any previous Joker. One of the fan crusaders hit the nail on the coffin when he said: “Jared Leto did not play a bad role, in the end, what flattened the character was the bad design and handling they gave him”, coming from a fan who does not consider himself a movie critic but has a good point.

So now that fans have manifested the “nonexistent” Snyder Cut, Zack will finally have the opportunity to show the broken version of the Joker he loved so much. No ugly tattoos on his forehead, a L’Oréal hairstyle, scars all over the place, and an appearance so macabre that if you see would see him on the street, you end up giving him your cell phone and wallet.

Originally, the Joker was supposed to show up in Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League, “It was always my intention to bring him into this world,” the director confessed to Vanity Fair, who thanks to HBO Max, now has his chance. Although after seeing Joaquin Phoenix’s version, they knew they needed to reimagine the character, but not like what they did in Suicide Squad.
