The film is slowly progressing on the set of Venom 2, which hopefully will not take too long to finish since director Andy Serkis needs to get on with his role as Alfred in “The Batman.” This new video released by a fan, shows an action scene that will probably be an important segment of the feature film.
The video is quite short and of average quality, but it allows you to discern what is happening. A stuntman can be seen carrying in his arms a person as he jumps from a high point off a wall onto a car. It is pretty intense and allows one to appreciate the level of dedication involved in creating an action scene.
Some details that should be noted: on the one hand, being a police car, we can infer that the scene involes a chase. On the other hand, the stuntman who jumps is wearing a motion capture costume, so he is obviously representing a symbiote which will be rendered in the final cut. The question is, who is he? Venom? Carnage who comes to the aid of his companion, Shriek? Many questions are now raised.
