At the game fighting tournament that takes place in California called EVO, Bandai Namco revealed a video with the new characters that will be added to the cast of Tekken 7, including the return of Anna and Lei Wulong, and a special inclusion of Negan, the popular villain from the television adaptation from The Walking Dead
The game was launched in June of last year and it included Akuma from the Street Fighter franchise. In addition, in November they added Geese Howard, from the Fatal Fury saga, and last March they included Noctis Lucis Caelum, from Final Fantasy XV. Hence, it is not new to include characters outside their usual selection, although certainly Negan seems a move that does not make much sense. The company Nether Realm, makers of Mortal Kombat included Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees and fans couldn’t get enough. We live in an era where fighting games include characters from any fandom and that is awesome.
