As reported, the director prepared an event to mark the third anniversary of the film’s release by the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) team.
When Snyder left the project mid-production, director Joss Whedon went back to finish the recordings and changed many of his plans. After years of campaigning, fans got their wish earlier this year when Snyder confirmed that his ‘Justice League’ will debut on HBO Max in 2021.
The first trailer first premiered on the DC FanDome and came off the internet after some reported music rights issues, but there are actually a handful of differences between the old version of the trailer and the new one.
Although the easiest differences noticeable between the old trailer and the new trailer for ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ is precisely the absence of color, although HBO Max later published it with it.
A handful of scenes have also been removed, some have been added and others have been swapped for alternatives, as well as having better-looking villains.

It seems worth noting that the shot differences between the two versions of the trailers do not appear to be part of the additional photography that took place recently for the film. Many members of the main cast re-shot additional scenes, including Ben Affleck as Batman and Ezra Miller as Flash.
