During the promotional tour of “John Wick 3: Parabellum” last May, director Chad Stahelski revealed that the Wachowski sisters and Warner Bros. were already working on a new installment of the Matrix
“I’m super happy that the Wachowskis are not just doing a Matrix, but they’re expanding what we all loved,” he told Yahoo News, the director was so excited about the idea that he would accept to work as a stunt double just to take some part in the movie.

According to the discussing film site, the project could count on the return of the Wachowski sisters in the director’s chairs of the film and its production will start in 2020 in the city of Chicago and Michael B. Jordan could be the protagonist.
The details of the fourth movie of Matrix are kept secret for obvious reasons but according to the report, the film is being developed under the name “Project Ice Cream,” Zak Penn is in charge of the script, he also did the adaptation for “Ready Player One.”
