The friendship between Captain America and Bucky has been a bit controversial, since many have considered excessive the way Steve defends this character. Fans got annoyed with Marvel over an official post they made about the quality of relationship Captain America and Bucky have.
The friendship of these two characters began from before Steve Rogers became Captain America, but it was halted after Bucky fell from a train and lost his life. Many years later Rogers discovered that he was still alive, turned into a weapon, something that put his friendship in check.
Through social networks, the Unithed Kingdom Marvel and Irish account published a video that seemed to not please fans of this franchise, because fans were displeased with Marvel and how they portrayed Bucky and Captain Americas relationship.
A large number of fans responded to this post, arguing that they were not together as the video says they are, but that they were divorced, I mean, sorry, separated for many years and in the end, Steve decided to stay in the past with Peggy, to live his own life, completely apart from the Avengers.
The intention of Marvel Studios apparently was to show that both characters are more similar than one thinks, because we can see scenes where both had analogous predicaments, but obviously, we must take into account that one of them was brainwashed into villany for many years.
Steve Rogers has always been thankful for what Bucky did for him before his super-soldier transformation. And now Bucky is forever greatful that Rogers did the same for him after being considered a criminal.
