A bombshell news has just been revealed, Chris Evans is in talks to return as Captain America. According to Deadline, the actor is in the stages to finalizing his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The news also says that the actor would not necessarily return for a solo project, but for another foreign undertaking that has already be confirmed. However, his first reappearance will set a chain reaction that will expand his participation on several other projects of his own for the character.
This will leave the door open to see other versions of the character, beyond the freedom fighter persona. Like for example his time as “Nomad”, and even his evil version, Captain Hydra.
Another possibility is that, we could see him in a story where he returns each and every one of the gems, as happened in “Avengers: Endgame”, something that could be quite personal to the fans.
Although it is truly possible that the character is part of a larger crossover, as Robert Downey Jr. did in “Captain America: Civil War”, in such a case, he could appear in the events of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” or in “Spider-Man 3”.
