“Avengers: Endgame” is one of the most anticipated films of 2019. However, there is a fan who wants to see it before the world premiere, which is scheduled for April. He has terminal cancer and could die before the premiere.
It is a follower of the Marvel films, whose history was known through Reddit. The user is alexander_q and he told his story.
He has stated that he has “liver cancer, mouth cancer and bone marrow failure ” and will “probably be dead before April.”
This began to trend in the Reddit social network after his story came out. “Just a normal guy. ” he said. Along with that, he pointed out that “I’m 33, lost my sister three years ago to the same rare genetic disease it turns out I have too. I’ll behind a devoted girlfriend and an adopted greyhound.”
“I thought it would be April, at least, but my bone marrow is toasted,” he added.
However, his story may have a happy ending. One user replied that “I am working on ‘Endgame’ in London (if the location is close to you, you can have my cast and team selection ticket, which is usually a week before the premiere) and I will try to pass this message to the VFX ladder (mostly producers), I hope something can come out of this.”
For now, Marvel Studios has not commented on the subject and the film will be released in cinemas, worldwide, on April 26.
