A senior citizen died while watching the movie “Annabelle Comes Home” at a Thai movie theater.
The man was identified as Bernard Channing, 77, of British nationality, was on vacation in the Asian country; it is unknown if his death is due to natural causes or because of the emotional turmoil the horror movie caused on him.
As reported by Daily Mail, during the screening of the film no one noticed anything strange, so it is impossible to say how long he was dead before anyone noticed his death.
It was when the film ended, when the lights were turned on, that a worker discovered the body, and immediately called the emergency services, which were only able to certify the death of the retiree.
The body of the tourist was taken through the side door of the cinema to be transferred to a local hospital to attempt to make a more thorough analysis and determine the exact cause of death.
It is not the first time that a similar event has happened: in 2016, another man, age 65, died after suffering a stroke during the screening of “The Conjuring 2” in Andrah Pradesh, India.
