Joss Whedon had the Batgirl film project in his hands and let it go. But that does not mean that the project has died. In fact, new rumors claim that the film could have found its protagonist in, none other than Kristen Stewart.

The information comes directly from the Twitter account of Daniel R , who reputedly has an accurate premise from Warner Bros films before they are released. According to their information, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment want Barbara Gordon to be “Kristen Stewart type”,  which suggests that, in reality, they are looking for the actress of the Twilight saga  for the role.

Would she be a good match for the role? Surely the vast majority will say no, but remember that one of the last version of the character was played by Alicia Silverstone and maybe it didn’t go as well as they planed, but its not just the actress, its the director and those in charge of making her movie character believable that make it all come together.

Christiana Hodson ( Bumblebee and Birds of Prey ) is currently writing the film’s new script and there is not much information on what it is being based on, but the rumor going around is that her plot is inspired by the story Batman: The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl !,  in which the villain is Killer Moth.
